Christmas 2011 Ideas
Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to read my email and come here to drop your Christmas idea! Please do so by commenting on this post. Be creative and reasonable! Explain your idea the best you can so we can get a good understanding of what you meant.
Here’s how it works:
- YOU submit ONE idea (best one you come up with) by Fri, Nov 11, 2011
- Allen and I will determine which ideas fit our resources
- We will take a public vote on a Friday
- YOU Volunteer to help us
I’m excited to see what you guys come up with!

I have some ideas maybe we can do that i thought of and brainstormed:) i was gonna bring them to youth on friday but since we have the blog here we go…
1-
“Wrap it up!” we could Set up a free Christmas gift-wrapping station outside a department store. Or give out free things of scotch tap or little bows and stickers to put on the gifts.
2- Poinsettias — take small poinsettia plants as “house to house” gifts with a card of the church and than the christmas program we will be doing. or make each house around the community a christmas wreath by the youth so they can put them on there front door and everytime they see it they will remember where they got it from and such..(we will put them together and make them homemade.)
3-”Angel Breakfast” – we as youth could on a saturday or friday night Host a breakfast or lunch, or dinner for young children and their parents. Have an “angel” choir, crafts and stories?… like each youth can have a different section and crafts and stuff.. and than watch the Nativity story movie after words parents and childern?
.. well those are some ideas. thats all i have for now;) i hope other people post there ideas also.

My idea is that we go see the sick children at motts hospital and carol to them and bring them gifts. We could all pitch in some money and get some toys that they would like and then we can go and pass them out at the hospital. We could also volunteer at a soup kitchen and help feed the hungry and homeless.
